Statement Of U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell On President's Space Proposal

I commend President Bush for breathing new life into America's space program, and look forward to Congress closely examining the details of this bold proposal. Congress must find an appropriate balance to our nation's scientific stake in space exploration and the pressing fiscal obligations we have here on Earth.
