WALBERG HELPS CONSTITUENTS FIGHT BACK AGAINST HIGH GAS PRICES

U.S. Congressman Tim Walberg (R-MI), today returning to Washington, D.C. after making over 50 stop in the Seventh District during the past week and a half, announced his official website has added a new feature to help constituents fight back against high gas prices.

Constituents can go here to access a gas price watch reporting form, find the best places to buy gasoline in Michigan on a daily basis, access a distance/time calculator and learn tips on how to conserve fuel and save money.

"As I traveled across the Seventh District during the past week and a half, constituent after constituent expressed to me frustration with how high gas prices currently are," Walberg said.
"Finding solutions to the high price of energy will not be easy, but increasing the use of alternative energies, along with increased American energy production and conservation, will significantly reduce America's dependence on Middle Eastern oil and lower prices at the pump. As we work towards these solutions, I urge everyone in south-central Michigan to take advantage of this online service."
