SEN. MIKE CRAPO (R-ID): Thank you very much, Mr. Chairman. And Mr. Donaldson, Mr. Reed, I appreciate you coming here before us. As has been indicated already, we seem to have a full agenda of issues relating to corporate governance and management of the problems that have arisen in our markets in the United States and globally every week as we go through these issues in Congress. And I appreciate your constant and sincere attention to these issues.

I will forgo making a full statement but simply state here for the record that --

SEN. CRAPO: Thank you very much, Mr. Chairman. I do deeply appreciate the concern that is being brought here and share the concerns that have already been raised by many of my colleagues. I look forward to the testimony we will hear today.
