Lake Cumberland Water Level

Army Corps of Engineers leadership has assured me there are no immediate plans to lower the lake from the current level, nor will they unless there is a significant deterioration of the Wolf Creek Dam.

I am working with the Corps to make sure the lake communities and stakeholders are well informed in order to make important business decisions in a timely manner.

Further, I am engaged with the Corps and my colleagues here in Congress to ensure that construction timelines are met, immediate and essential grouting work continues, and to the extent possible, impacts of a lower lake level are addressed.
