Diaz-Balart Introduces the 4-1-1 on Tax Relief for Families

Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) has introduced the Tax Relief for Families Act (H.R. 411), which will make some of the current tax cuts permanent.

"I am proud to introduce this pro-family legislation," Diaz-Balart said. "Hard-working and middle-class families deserve to have these common-sense tax cuts made permanent. Millions of families benefit from this much-needed tax relief and we should do everything we can to ensure that the backbone of our society is protected from a crippling tax burden."

"This bill will also keep our economy growing while helping keep the federal government out of our wallets and pocketbooks," Diaz-Balart continued. "I urge the new Majority to take up my bill and pass this family friendly tax cut legislation."

Specifically, the Tax Relief for Families Act will make permanent the:

*
Child Tax Credit
*
Marriage Penalty Relief
*
College Tuition Deduction
*
State and Local Sales Tax Deduction
*
School Teacher Expense Deduction
*
Repeal the Estate Tax
