DURBIN STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF PRESIDENT FORD
U.S. Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) today issued the following statement on the passing of former President Gerald Ford:
"I join the millions of Americans saddened by the loss of President Ford, a man of principle, integrity, and honesty who helped heal the nation during some of our darkest times. President Ford served our nation well and will be remembered for his years of dedication to the American public. Loretta and I offer our deepest condolences to the Ford family and join all Americans in commemorating his life."
