Moran Announces Eleventh Annual Big First Listening Tour

Congressman Jerry Moran today announced the upcoming schedule of his eleventh annual Big First Listening Tour. Moran will continue his tradition of visiting communities in each of the 69 counties of the First Congressional District. Moran is beginning his annual tour now due to the uncertainty of the voting schedule for the beginning of 2007 under the new incoming leadership.

"Traveling the state on my annual tour provides a great opportunity to listen to Kansans," Moran said. "I continue this tradition to make sure I know what is on the minds of Kansans and to bring their thoughts and concerns back to Washington, D.C., where I work to address them."

During the tour, Moran will travel more than 5,000 miles to visit with area residents and learn about issues important to Kansans.
