Issa Statement on Republican House Leadership Elections

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) made the following statement following Republican Leadership elections for the 110th Congress:

"I am honored to have been considered as a candidate for Chairman of the Republican Policy Committee. I congratulate Chairman McCotter and the rest of our new leadership on their election.

"I will continue to serve as a member of the Policy Committee and look forward to working with Chairman McCotter to help our Conference develop new ideas for our conference.

"Republicans have strong leadership and we will work together to address the many critical issues facing our nation."
