HANK JOHNSON URGES CITIZENS TO REGISTER FOR NOV 7 ELECTION - Deadline Today

Decatur - 4th Congressional District nominee Hank Johnson today urged unregistered citizens to exercise their rights and to honor voting rights advocates by registering to vote in the November 7 th General Election. Today is the last day for voters to register if they have not registered or have moved to a new address.

"For a democracy to work, all voting-age citizens must participate ," said Johnson. "In my historically-Democratic District, I was especially proud that we attracted a greater turnout for the run off than predicted. It is my hope that voters will return to the polls on November 7th in record numbers again." If necessary, he urged voters to take advantage of advance voting between October 30-November 3rd.
