Wilson Hails Continued Economic Growth

WASHINGTON - Congressman Joe Wilson (SC-02), member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, today made the following statement regarding the U.S. Department of Labor's report that 51,000 jobs were created in September:

"Today's jobs report is more good news for American families. Gas prices have fallen dramatically. The stock market has reached all-time record highs. Wages are up and Americans are investing more money in their local economies.

"With 51,000 jobs added to the workforce last month, September marked the 37th consecutive month of job growth. These numbers speak for themselves: American families are directly benefiting from Republican pro-growth policies."
