Ruling Finding Bush's Warrantless Wiretapping Program Unconstitutional

Representative Bernard Sanders (I-VT) said, "Today's ruling that President Bush's warrantless wiretapping program is unconstitutional reaffirms that no one, including the President, is above the law. The NSA program, which monitors domestic phone calls and emails without judicial oversight, violates the core freedoms on which our nation was founded and should not be allowed to continue. It is critical that our government does everything in its power to fight terrorism but we can and must do this without violating our constitutional rights."
