Act Now, Empowerment Determines our Destiny

I believe that we need some common sense leadership that will shift and put our nation back on track in living up to a truly Democratic America, and we must do this together. I'm asking you to be a part of my campaign for Congress. You and I understand that healthcare is a basic human right. Working together we will defend the value of labor and the right to organize in every workplace. You and I together will speak out about the corruption in Washington that threatens our democratic process and has distorted the true meaning of government of the people, for the people and by the people.

It's Time for Women Power

Women must be greater part of the dialogue in Washington. After all, we're over half the population, yet we account for only 15% of the representatives in Congress. We are often responsible for taking care of our families' health and our communities-- and women, we cannot do that job unless we speak out and impact on public policy.

So please join me. We have a small window of time to raise the money needed to be successful, and hundreds of people from the neighborhoods of central Brooklyn have generously given to my campaign.
