Welcome to the website for Mazie for Congress!
The purpose of this website is to provide information about my candidacy for Hawaii's 2nd Congressional district, to connect you with the many different people involved in and leading my campaign on the various islands which make up the 2nd CD, and to make it easy for you to communicate with me.
In the information category, you'll find my biography, why I'm running for Congress and my thoughts on the various issues facing our nation. You will also find press clips and photos of the people, places and events that I have visited as I travel the second district.
This is just the beginning of the information that we will provide to you, so I hope you'll bookmark our site and check it regularly. For example, right now, the Issues section discusses only "National" issues. Very shortly, you will find information on "Local" issues as well. My mother has saved some wonderful photos from my childhood and soon you will see those added to the Bio section, as well as information about my husband, Leighton Kim Oshima.
We are constantly expanding our Neighbor Island teams and will profile the many people who are working on each island to help me get elected so I can serve all of you.
The photo gallery is just beginning to show where I've been, who I've met and what I've done. We already have over 1000 photos, and eventually will have all of those posted by event location so you can follow our campaign visually.
