Veterans

Veterans' issues are national security issues. If the American government continues to break its promise to care for veterans it will be difficult for our military to continue to recruit new soldiers.

America has an ethical and moral obligation to fulfill its promises to veterans. As a veteran of the Army National Guard, Command Sergeant Major Walz is deeply concerned about those veterans that are already in the VA system, as well as the high number of military personnel that will be classified as veterans in the near future.

Walz believes that all soldiers have a right to health insurance, decent pay and a continual support system during and after their time in the military. Tim Walz will fight to ensure that our National Guard and Reserve members, as well as full-time military personnel are properly compensated for the job they are performing.
