Wall Announces Campaign Co-Chairs

BUSINESSMAN JOHN BROGAN AND REPRESENTATIVE TOM NELSON JOIN TEAM

Green Bay businessman John Brogan and Representative Tom Nelson (D - Kaukuana) will serve as co-chairs of Jamie Wall's campaign for the U.S. Congress, Wall announced today.

Brogan is president of Wisconsin Converting, a specialty paper company in Green Bay, and has been a key adviser to Wisconsin political leaders over several decades. Nelson won a hotly-contested race in November for a seat in the State Assembly, becoming the only Democrat in the state to defeat a Republican incumbent in the Legislature.

"Jamie Wall has strong roots in Northeast Wisconsin and credibility with the business community as a job-creator," Brogan said. "He's going to be a terrific Congressman, and I'm honored to co-chair his campaign."

"There's no question that Jamie Wall has what it takes to be our next Congressman," Nelson said. "He'll be a strong voice for Northeast Wisconsin - a champion of fiscal responsibility, an advocate for real health care reform, and a protector of Social Security."

Wall said the support of these two well-known community leaders shows that his campaign has the strength and organization to win.

"I'm honored to have John Brogan and Tom Nelson as chairs of my campaign," Wall said. "John Brogan has played an indispensable part in dozens of successful campaigns, and Tom Nelson has shown that a smart, aggressive campaign can win in Northeast Wisconsin."
