Southern Maryland Officials Join Hoyer in Endorsement of Simms
Says Baltimore Attorney is One of the Most Qualified Candidates in State History

Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (D-Mechanicsville) was joined in his endorsement of Stuart O. Simms for Attorney General by a number of Southern Maryland elected officials including State Senate President Mike Miller, State Senator Mac Middleton, State Senator Roy Dyson, Delegate John Bohanan, Charles County Commissioner Edith Patterson, and others.

"Stu Simms is an experienced, knowledgeable, and thoughtful person who will be an extraordinarily able attorney general for the people of our state," Hoyer said. "All of these elected officials have joined me in endorsing Stu because they know he will focus on the welfare of all Marylanders."

"With close to 30 years legal experience, including heading two of the larger departments in Maryland, Stu's qualifications put him in a class by himself," Hoyer concluded.
