Sen. Dina Titus said Monday that the backing of the Nevada State Education Association (NSEA) means a huge boost to her campaign for governor and sends a message to Nevada's 400,000 students and their parents that education is a top priority.
"As an educator, I am extremely proud of this endorsement," Titus said. "This reaffirms that I have the experience, determination and the new ideas to take Nevada where it needs to go. I feel that education is the key to the future. When individuals are better educated, not only do they succeed personally, but our economy prospers, our culture blooms and our democracy flourishes."
