Las Vegas Latinos Form Group To Elect Titus As Governor

Mexican-Americans celebrate their victory in battle on Cinco de Mayo, Democratic gubernatorial front-runner Dina Titus announced the formation of the Las Vegas arm of Nosotros con Dina today, a grassroots Latino group that will help push her toward victory in November.

"On Cinco de Mayo, many Mexican-Americans proudly celebrate the battle of Puebla, when the Mexican army defeated invading French troops on May 5, 1862. That is why I am honored to share this day by announcing support from this proud community in my race for governor," Titus said. "While members of Nosotros con Dina will work hard to get out the Latino vote for me in this campaign, when I am elected, I will work hard to ensure that everyone has a seat at the table, as I always have."
