New Poll Confirms Titus As Gubernatorial Front-Runner
July 27, 2006
Gubernatorial candidate Dina Titus is confirmed as the front-runner in the Democratic race for governor, according to two recent independent polls.
A survey conducted by nationally prominent pollster Peter Hart and reported by Jon Ralston in his Ralston Flash on July 25 shows Dina Titus leading her primary opponent Jim Gibson by a 13 point margin, 42 to 29 percent. 503 likely Democratic voters were sampled for the poll.
"I'm very heartened by these results," Dina Titus said. "They show that Nevadans are ready to make history. People trust that I have the values and experience to lead this state."
