Tipton, MI- Conservative Republican Tim Walberg unveiled the first in a series of radio ads highlighting Congressman Joe Schwarz's support from pro-abortion groups such as Planned Parenthood.
The ad is running on radio stations across central Michigan.
"I am 100% pro-life and endorsed by Right to Life Michigan, while Joe Schwarz supports abortion on demand and receives money from the Planned Parenthood PAC," said Walberg.
Earlier this week Walberg called on Schwarz to return contributions from Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is America's largest abortion provider and has performed over 4 million abortions and collected over $1 billion in abortion-related revenue since 1977. Their political arm, the Planned Parenthood Action Fund endorsed Schwarz for Congress and contributed $10,000 to his campaign.
Schwarz has also received funding from "The Republican Majority for Choice PAC," which in its own words "is an organization whose core mission is to protect the right to choose as outlined in Roe v. Wade." The group endorsed Schwarz and contributed $5,000 to his campaign.
"This campaign will be a contrast of values and ideals," said Walberg. "I believe the voters will choose Tim Walberg the conservative."
