Hoyer Statement on President Bush's Fundraising Visit to Maryland

Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (D-MD) today released the following statement in response to President Bush's scheduled fundraiser for the Maryland Republican Party.

"President Bush's second fundraising visit to Maryland in just the last year is a glaring reminder of what is at stake in the 2006 election.
"Maryland families will face a very clear choice this November: Republican candidates who seek to rubber stamp a Bush agenda that has spawned record deficits and spiraling debts, and failed to make America as safe as it possibly can be, or Democrats determined to take our state and nation in a different direction."
