Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart Votes to Fund Military Health Care and Veterans' Benefits

Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) today voted to approve the Military Quality of Life and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2007. The bill, which emphasizes health care and veterans' benefits, reflects House Republicans' commitment to ensuring that the needs of the brave men and women who serve our country are fully met.

"The passage of this bill reflects this Republican Congress' commitment to fully funding the needs of our veterans and the needs of those currently serving in the military," Diaz-Balart said. "Our troops serving our nation and protecting our freedoms should not have to worry about the quality of life for them or their families.
