Congressmen Diaz-Balart and Hastings Introduce the Everglades Caucus

Congressmen Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) and Alcee L. Hastings (D-FL) today introduced the Everglades Caucus. Everglades restoration is the largest project of its kind undertaken by the Unites States. The mission of this Caucus is to promote legislation that will provide long-term funding for Everglades-related projects in order to ensure the preservation of this unique ecosystem.

Congressman Diaz-Balart said: "By offering a single voice in support of Everglades restoration efforts, this Caucus will be instrumental in ensuring critical Everglades funding continues and that this natural wonder of the world will exist for future generations."
