Diaz-Balart Heralds Florida Thriving Job Growth
Republican Economic Policies Help Florida Be a National Leader in Job Creation
The Bureau of Labor Statistics today announced that Florida continues to be a national leader in job growth by adding 14,900 jobs in April and more than 261,000 jobs in the past year. Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) today called attention to the continued evidence that Republican economic policies are working.
"Florida continues to be a national leader in job growth," Diaz-Balart said, "and Republican economic policies are helping provide the means for our growth."
Earlier this week, the president signed into law a bill to prevent crippling tax hikes on seniors, small businesses, and families and ensure the continuation of policies that have helped create jobs and fuel economic growth. Over the past three years, Republican pro-growth policies have spurred job creation across our country, including Florida.
"While Democrats like Nancy Pelosi continue to seek massive tax hikes, Republicans have acted to provide tax relief and prevent tax increases," Diaz-Balart continued. "We can clearly see what happens when hard-working Americans get to keep more of their hard-earned money: robust job creation, low unemployment, and vigorous economic growth."
