House Approves Appropriations for Military Quality of Life

Congressman Ken Calvert announced the passage of H.R.5385, the Military Quality of Life and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2007. The bill, which emphasizes health care and veterans' benefits, reflects the commitment of Congress to ensuring that the needs of the brave men and women who serve our country are fully met.

"H.R. 5385 works to fully fund the needs of our veterans and the needs of those currently serving in the military. With an all volunteer force it is important to show those currently serving in the military today that our government also supports the veterans who served before them," said Calvert.
