Statement Of U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell On The President's Speech On Border Security
U.S. Senate Majority Whip Mitch McConnell released the following statement tonight following the President's speech on border security:
"Most Americans agree that our immigration system is broken and our borders must be strengthened. President Bush should be commended for his commitment to fix the problem. His plan to clamp down on illegal immigrants entering our country is the right move and I support it."
