Res. 1498 in the House without intervention of any point of order if called on by the chair of the Committee on Ethics or his designee; that the resolution be considered as read; and that the previous question be considered as ordered on the resolution to adoption without intervening motion or demand for division of the question except for 1 hour of debate equally divided and controlled by myself and Representative Edwards of North Carolina, or their designee.
