Mr. MORELLE. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize an outstanding young man from Rochester, New York, whose dedication to leadership, service, and personal excellence has earned him admission to the United States Military Academy at West Point: Paul Brooker.
Throughout his time in high school, Paul distinguished himself through his integrity, commitment, and seriousness of purpose. Respected by both his peers and teachers, he consistently demonstrated a willingness to serve others, whether as a supportive classmate, a trusted friend, or a captain of his cross-country team. His accomplishments reflect not only a strong work ethic, but also a deep commitment to leadership and service.
Drawn to West Point's enduring mission of developing leaders of character committed to the service of our Nation, Paul recognized in the Academy an institution that reflected his own values and aspirations. The principles of duty, honor, and selfless service resonated deeply with him, as did the opportunity to challenge himself academically and physically while preparing for a life of leadership.
Mr. Speaker, I am confident that Paul Brooker will make the Rochester community proud as he embarks on this next chapter of his life. I congratulate him on this remarkable achievement and extend my very best wishes for continued success at the United States Military Academy and beyond.
