Mr. FRY. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to congratulate the Latta High School baseball team on winning the Class A state title in South Carolina. This championship marks the program's 10th state title and its first since 2018, a tremendous accomplishment that reflects the team's determination, resilience, and commitment to excellence.

The Vikings finished the season with an impressive 27-10 record and showed true championship character when it mattered most. After trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning, Latta mounted a comeback, highlighted by a go-ahead two-run double from Caden Hyatt. Throughout the season, the team benefited from outstanding contributions across the roster, including strong performances from Darren Alford and David Greer, whose play helped power the Vikings' successful run.

I also want to recognize Head Coach Robbie Brown, Assistant Coach Aaron Miles, the players, families, school community, and all those who supported the team throughout the season. Their hard work and dedication brought great pride to Latta and to the State of South Carolina. I ask my colleagues to join me in congratulating the Latta Vikings on this well-earned championship.
