Welcoming the Honorable Clay Fuller to the House of Representatives

Mr. BISHOP. Mr. Speaker, as dean of Georgia's congressional delegation, I would like to extend a heartfelt welcome to the Honorable Clay Fuller.

Welcome, Clay.

Our delegation is diverse, and we are passionate about how we best represent the great State of Georgia. However, most of all, something I am very proud of is that we still find a way to work together across the aisle, even as we have our diverse interests, particularly when subjects impact the people of the great State of Georgia, wherever they might live, to make our State continue to be the best State in America to do business.

As co-chair of the bipartisan Congressional Military Family Caucus, I appreciate Mr. Fuller's background as an airman and air guardsman, and the tireless contributions of his family to help him get to where he is today. Congratulations, Kate, and your two beautiful children.

Clay, I know that you will be a champion for rural Georgia, a passion that we can share in common. I look forward to the opportunities ahead to collaborate.

On a personal note, I am happy to see another Emory University alumnus and a practicing attorney join the ranks of public service in Congress from the great State of Georgia.

Mr. AUSTIN SCOTT of Georgia. Mr. Speaker, I thank Congressman Bishop for yielding. I will be brief before Mr. Fuller has his 10 words.

He is a district attorney from north Georgia. He has done an exceptionally good job there. He is still a JAG officer in the Georgia National Guard, and he brings a lot of valuable insight and experience to the House of Representatives. Let's hope we use it.

I am glad to introduce you to the newest member of the Georgia delegation of the United States Congress, Mr. Clay Fuller, and his family.
