He should be home with them at this late hour, but I hope you will give him permission to be on the floor without objection.

And to my chief of staff Veronica Duron, who does not have two beautiful daughters but who has a lot of plants that need watering, she should probably be home doing that, but I would like to get her permission to be on the Senate floor as well.
