Mrs. McCLAIN. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize the Millington High School varsity football team for winning the Michigan Division 7 State championships last weekend. The Millington Cardinals took home their first-ever State championship in football with a 24-0 shutout and capped off their undefeated season as champions. I might add they were the only undefeated team in the State this year.

Congratulations to Coach Germain and the talented group of young men for their incredible accomplishment on the field. He has made Michigan's Ninth District proud, and I hope he cherishes this memory for the rest of his life.

Congratulations again to the Millington student body. Go Cardinals.
