Mr. FITZPATRICK. Mr. Speaker, I rise today to recognize an extraordinary individual from Pennsylvania's First Congressional District--someone who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in service to both our community and our country. It is with great respect and admiration that I recognize the late Glen D. Golembeski, II, one of our district's distinguished Hometown Heroes.

Hometown Heroes are not defined by titles or accolades, but by the quiet power of their actions. They are distinguished by their unwavering integrity, the strength of their character, and their steadfast commitment to the people and places they serve. They are the foundation upon which our communities stand--the ones who lift others up, inspire hope, and, in doing so, call us all to higher standards of service and compassion. Throughout his remarkable life, Glen embodied this spirit in ways that words can scarcely capture.

A third-generation firefighter, Glen was a proud Doylestown native and graduate of Central Bucks East High School. Despite facing significant physical health challenges from an early age, Glen chose to embrace life with relentless positivity, meeting every obstacle head-on and never backing down--``can't'' was simply not part of his vocabulary.

Inspired by the legacy of service left by his father and grandfather, Glen's commitment to his community began early. At just sixteen, he joined the Midway Volunteer Fire Company. His passion for helping others only grew from there, leading him to serve as an EMT Fireman with the Bryn Athyn Fire Company and Ambulance Service, an EMT for the Warrington Community Ambulance Corps, and a volunteer firefighter with the Midway Fire Company. Glen's service extended even further, as he became an invaluable member of the Newtown Ambulance Squad, Lingohocken Fire Company, and most recently, spent the last five years saving lives as an EMT with the Bensalem Rescue Squad.

Glen's life was defined by extraordinary resilience, selflessness, and a tireless dedication to protecting others. His impact goes far beyond the countless lives he touched--his legacy of unwavering service and courage is woven into the very fabric of our community.

Mr. Speaker, it is because of heroes like Glen that our communities stand strong and our Nation endures. Today, we honor Glen not only for his deeds but for the man he was--a true hero in every sense of the word. His life reminds us that real strength is found in service, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all.

On behalf of Pennsylvania's First Congressional District, I extend my deepest gratitude to the family of Glen D. Golembeski, II, for his extraordinary service. I ask my colleagues to join me in honoring this exceptional individual, whose leadership and spirit of service will inspire generations to come. May his legacy remind us of the boundless potential within each of us to make our communities, country, and world a better place.
