On September 22nd, Amogy successfully demonstrated the world's first carbon-free, ammonia- powered maritime vessel on Rondout Creek and the Hudson River, located in my district in New York.
This achievement reflects Amogy's commitment to addressing one of the most pressing challenges of our time--reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the maritime industry. The successful voyage of this vessel marks a historic step forward in the global push to transition to cleaner energy solutions, and it serves as a beacon of what can be achieved when we leverage groundbreaking technology for the good of our planet.
