“History was made today in Mexico, as Claudia Sheinbaum became the first female president in the country’s history. President Sheinbaum envisions a future for Mexico where communities are safe, people can gain the necessary skills to get a good-paying job and power the economy, and families have the resources needed to support loved ones. I am excited to continue to grow our agricultural partnerships and foster strong trade agreements between Colorado and Mexico, while continuing to strengthen the cultural ties that unite Mexico and Colorado.”
