“I am honored to receive the Friend of Farm Bureau Award in recognition of my advocacy for the essential needs of our incredibly hardworking farmers, growers, and producers in Upstate New York and the North Country. This Congress, I voted to pass the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act in the House to ensure our children have access to flavored and unflavored whole milk in school, countered Joe Biden’s restrictions on WIC families’ access to nutritional milk and dairy products by introducing the Protecting Mothers and Infants’ Access to Milk Act, and protected egg producers and the quality of their products by combating the unfair practice of mislabeled imitation egg products using the term “egg” on their product labels with my bill, the Consistent Egg Labels Act. I will proudly continue working on behalf of our Upstate New York and North Country farmers who are the backbone of our communities.”
