The August jobs report showed another month of strong and steady economic growth. Inflation is down, wages are up and the unemployment rate remains near historic lows. Our nation has made a historic economic recovery and House Democrats will continue to work with President Biden to grow the middle class and build on the more than 15 million jobs that have been created under the Biden-Harris administration.

While Donald Trump and the extreme MAGA Republicans are focused on giving tax breaks to billionaires, gutting Social Security and ending Medicare as we know it, Democrats will continue to put hardworking taxpayers first, defend freedom and deliver real results for everyday Americans.
