Ernst Visits Majdal Shams, Witnesses Brutality of Iran-Backed Proxies

Statement

Israel is under attack on all sides. The community of Majdal Shams already lives under the uncertainty of terror, and my heart broke as I heard the stories of mothers, fathers, and community leaders forced to mourn the lives of children taken too soon.

Witnessing the impact of this brutality further shows that Iran-backed Hezbollah and Hamas’ terrorism truly show no bounds. To them, civilians are not off-limits, and they make no exceptions for targeting children or the soccer fields where they play.

In the face of this loss, the future appears dim, but the fight for justice on behalf of these young, innocent lives is not over.

Instead of allowing the Iranian regime to prosper and withholding weapons from our greatest ally in the Middle East, I’m calling on the Biden-Harris administration to deny the IRGC’s ability to support and arm terrorists and provide Israel the resources it needs to decimate these terrorists once and for all. America must not waiver in its support of Israel.
