Stefanik Statement on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Congressional Address

I’m proud to welcome Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to our nation’s Capitol at a time when ensuring strong U.S. support for Israel is more critical than ever. Since Hamas’s barbaric October 7th terrorist attack against Israel it has never been more clear that Israel is serving as a bulwark against Iran’s violent aspirations in the Middle East. Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech is a stark reminder that Israel is currently facing existential threats from Iranian-sponsored proxies on multiple different fronts and the U.S. cannot abandon our ally as they fight against this evil. As I said during my address to the Israeli Knesset, we will not rest until every hostage kidnapped during the horrific October 7th Hamas terrorist attacks is returned home. While the Biden-Harris Administration blocked aid to Israel, eased sanctions on Iran, and paid the world’s leading state sponsor of terror billions of dollars in ransom money and waivers extensions, House Republicans have stood strongly with Israel. America is firmly behind Israel and the Jewish people.
