"Families in every part of Washington state should be able to count on clean drinking water whenever they turn on the tap--and it's so important that we continue to invest in and upgrade our water and wastewater systems across the country so that everyone has access to safe and reliable drinking water. The federal dollars we passed in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act are already helping to make major, and needed, improvements to our water infrastructure--and as Chair of the Appropriations Committee, I will continue working to secure resources across our government funding bills to make clean and safe drinking water a reality for everyone."
