"I am proud to see the resources I personally fought for be awarded to Marshall Health and its partners. I am also grateful to the diligent professionals at Marshall's Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine for working hard to ensure the funding goes to the areas where it is needed. By expanding the Coalfield Health Center, more patients have the opportunity to receive more reliable treatment options close to home instead of traveling hours away. And by enhancing toxicology services and research at Marshall Health, we can work to help more West Virginians recover from their battle with opioids and help them toward a path that leads to success and reach their full potential."
