"A jury of regular Americans has found reasons to charge former President Trump for trying to overturn the 2020 election, which he knew he lost.

The former President conspired with his lawyers and advisors to engage in a variety of schemes to overturn the election, culminating on January 6 when he incited an insurrection and attack on our Capitol Building.

Everyone who attempted to overthrow the will of the American people should be held accountable for their actions to the fullest extent. No one is above the law, including the President of the United States."
