Mr. JOYCE of Pennsylvania. Mr. Speaker, since its founding in 1873, The United States Naval Institute has been a tireless advocate for our Nation's Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.

The United States Naval Institute, which is located at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, provides an independent forum for those who work to advance our understanding of sea power along with issues critical to our National security.

This independent, non-partisan and innovative platform was created to promote the free exchange of ideas to generate and advance the knowledge of America's Sea Services, thereby preserving our naval and maritime heritage.

On behalf of Pennsylvania's 13th Congressional District, I congratulate the United States Naval Institute on its 150th Anniversary and commend the staff and over 100,000 dedicated supporters worldwide for their commitment to our Nation's servicemembers.
