"Today's jobs report is further proof that the American economy is healthy and resilient. Wages are rising and the unemployment rate remains at a historic low. Over 13 million jobs have been created during President Biden's first term and under the leadership of the Biden-Harris administration, Democrats are strengthening the economy and growing our nation's middle class.

Unfortunately, extreme MAGA Republicans are determined to destabilize the economy, undo this progress and march towards a government shutdown in order to dictate extreme ransom demands and jam their right-wing ideology down the throats of the American people. Democrats are going to continue to focus on what matters -- delivering for working families and building an economy from the middle out and the bottom up, not the top down."
