"It's a train wreck!"

Today, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) slammed President Biden's major transportation projects that are billions over budget and years behind schedule, including the California High-Speed Rail that will not be completed for another decade and will cost $100 billion more than the original price tag.

Ernst highlighted her bipartisan Billion Dollar Boondoggle Act that would expand accountability requirements to every taxpayer-funded project, along with the Put the Brakes on Boondoggles Act that would bring each of these runaway trains to a halt.

Ernst also awarded her April 2023 Squeal Award to Biden for his failed track record on infrastructure.
