Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) has co-sponsored H.R. 3759, the Physical Therapist Workforce and Patient Access Act. The bipartisan bill allows physical therapists to be eligible for National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment if they take a position in an underserved area, including rural communities.

Rep. Budd said in a statement:

"Addressing the shortage of specialized healthcare workers is critical to lowering costs and improving the quality of care. I'm proud to support a bill that will help rural patients receive the healthcare they need."
