Rep. Zeldin Discusses Public Safety Issues with NASCO

Statement

Date: June 10, 2022
Location: Washington, D.C.

On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) addressed members of the National Association of Security Companies (NASCO) at their symposium in Washington, D.C. regarding public safety issues and rising crime throughout the country.

"As crime rises in major cities like New York, where many elected officials and prosecutors have little to no interest in supporting law enforcement or putting and keeping criminals behind bars, private security companies have a significant role to play in keeping our citizens, businesses, public gatherings and communities safe," Congressman Zeldin told the group.
