Ms. LOFGREN. Madam Speaker, I rise today to offer congratulations to Steve W. Marsh on the occasion of his Congressional retirement from the U.S. House of Representatives, CAO Office of Finance--Accounting Department as of Thursday, May 5, 2022, after over 24 years of service. Steve started as a Staff Accountant with the Chief Administrative Office on March 16, 1998, tasked with the Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) reconciliation process where he quickly became the subject matter expert. Steve was promoted on October 1, 2000, to Senior Accountant, and July 1, 2012, to Accounting Manager. Steve played a significant role in the implementation of the House's financial system of record, PeopleSoft, and was an integral part of the CAO Office of Finance team that has received a clean audit opinion for twenty-three consecutive years for the U.S. House of Representatives. Best wishes to Steve W. Marsh on a long, happy, fulfilling, and well-deserved retirement.
