CONGRESSMAN CUELLAR HOSTS UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS IN LAREDO

Washington, DC- Congressman Henry Cuellar and professors from the University of Texas toured Laredo's colonias today, with an interest in assisting the colonias to achieve basic infrastructure.
"I am working with the University of Texas at Austin to use research funds to demonstrate renewable water and electricity technologies, assist in establishing good governance practices and procedures, and provide technical assistance in infrastructure projects in the colonias," said Congressman Henry Cuellar.
"Infrastructure is the basis for economic development, and it is paramount to shed light on the issue," Congressman Cuellar added.
