McCaul Condemns North Korea's Recent ICBM Launch, Renews Call for Denuclearization

House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul has released the following statement following North Korea's recent launch of an ICBM.

"Kim Jong Un's launch of a long-range ICBM is a direct threat to the security and safety of Americans and our allies. I strongly urge the administration to impose maximum pressure and meaningful consequences on the Kim regime and the networks that enable its continued nuclear and ballistic missile development -- including in China and Russia. The United States will remain committed to our, allies the Republic of Korea and Japan, and the complete denuclearization of North Korea."
